 POKEMON SWORD! I got this amazing game for Christmas, and it is just beautiful. I have always really wanted a pure open world game, and the Wild Areas are so open. I also got a Nintendo Switch Online Account for Christmas, and am loving it! Still waiting for DizzyCrafter101 to come online for Minecraft Dungeons, though. ComeonDizzyIwanttoplayyyyyyy. Hey wait I know what you're thinking NO I have not been spamming him with "PLEASE LET'S PLAY" messages I've sent him like maybe two but I am respectful of his time! Uh I was not talking about Minecraft Dungeons and spamming... SWORD! Yeah... Pokemon Sword. I'm going to do this post in question and answer style starting... now.

1. Is there a difference between Sword and Shield?

Well, a little. There will be different Gyms, Pokemon that spawn, and the story very slightly changes. Really nothing that will break your heart too much if you don't know the changes, just a few things like Farfetch'd and Galarian Ponyta and whatnot. 


2. What is the story line like?

It really starts like most of the Pokemon series, with you leaving the house to go start your journey to become "the very best" (theme song quote), meaning you'll try to beat all the gyms*, catch all the Pokemon ("Gotta catch 'em all! Pokemon!"), and become the champion of the Galarian Pokemon League. You live next door to your self proclaimed rival, Hop. He is the younger brother of the Champion, Leon! (Hop just calls him Lee.) Leon brings three Starter Pokemon to choose from, the water type, Sobble, the grass type, Grooky, and the Fire type, Scorbunny. I obviously chose Sobble. The Pokemon you choose will effect the ones Leon and Hop choose. For example, since I chose Sobble, Hop chose Scorbunny (so you have the type advantage), and Leon took Grooky (type disadvantage for you). Also, Leon's the Champion. I do not know why he took the last one other than cuteness reasons. Alllllsooooo... do not argue with me, Leon is so handsome. I dunno, I like guys with light sideburns/beards? *Inhales sharply* I did not notice this until now, he has PURPLE hair. He's an anime cutie. 🤣🤣🤣


3. How open world is it?

So, Galar is HUMONGOUS according to me. There are a lot of gyms around here, the cities are pretty (Cirester at least... wait I totally spelled that wrong I dunno), and the Wild Areas are BREATHTAKING. 💖 I mean seriously, even if it's not entirely open world, Wild Areas online is wonderful.

*Gyms in Pokemon are the places you battle the top trainers of the told type, such as Bea, the fighting type gym leader.

I think that servers need better how-to-play instructions so here's a list of the minigames of the Hive and how to play them. 1. Sky Wars Sky Wars is a battle on a circle of islands in the sky. If you fall in the void, it's over. Players rush to collect armor and weapons to fight each other. On the Hive, you mine ores to get items, but there are also chests and ender chests. This is a game with teams of 1, 2, 3, or 4. 2. Murder Mystery In Murder Mystery, there will be the murderer, a sheriff, and 14 innocents. The innocents collect coins in order to get "One shot zappers" so if they find the murderer they can shoot them and end the game. The sheriff starts out with a One shot zapper, but their's can be shot more then once. The murderer's job is to get all the other players without being caught. Worlds you need to visit

 You need to see some of the world me and my friends have made. In one world, named simply "Our Home", my friends Frodor7, STRaY458, OrangeJam816460, herreaazzaira, moonlight123460, and DizzyCrafter101 have made the coolest world ever. moonlight made their room and a FLOATING cafe, herreaazzaira made two awesome houses, STRaY made a creepy looking fort, DizzyCrafter made a lava castle, OrangeJam added little things everywhere, Frodor created a humongous fortress, and I made our house in real life, in Minecraft!  We made another world, called Fellowship Games, where we are trying to create a server of sorts, with minigames and nether hubs and music! We each have a section of the hub where we build what we want and have two command blocks to teleport them to some  minigames. We may use this world for my "Minecraft Club" idea, too. You should try making a minigames to play with your friends, too! Maybe Spleef, or Skyblock... Hope this inspired you to build something am...
